Excellent Experience.. Desert BMW Las Vegas
As the title says,
I just wanted to share that I am deeply surprised of what EXCELLENT Service I've received from Desert BMW Las Vegas I never trust any stealership with my ///M so i ask for a manager and... I felt like I got hooked up.. Service department Asst.Mgr Josh Martinez was on my side today.. Took care of my request all without an appointment, and they were busy too... WorkOrder: •Standard Scope •Synthetic Oil & Filter change •Vehicle check per CBS •Replace intake silencer •Rear axel differential maintenance •Spark Plugs •And fix my passenger door lock actuator All this without an appointment so no loaner car was available, but Josh didn't even hesitate to offer me a rental car.. Wish he would have given me the 240E Software Update tho.. Long story short, it was a pleasant surprise to have been treated so well!

Yes I know huh...
Especially being on the forums.. All we ever hear/ see about are the bad stuff.. Nevertheless, I always dreaded bringing my car in for anything... - Example of my dreadfulness: my door lock actuator was out well over 4000 miles ago. But i refused to bring it in, for the simple fact that I don't like dealerships. I waited for when my car was due for service and had to go in. In the mean time, I wasn't able to be a gentleman and open the door for my wife for well over 4 months; had to get in, reach over to unlock while she waited.. Anyways, yeah.... Good guys at Desert BMW of LV

2, I have Extremely High expectations, hence I didn't bring my car in and dealt with a faulty door actuator for over 4 months.. And yes, minus me getting the 240E software update. It was above and beyond as I was almost about to drive to the other BMW dealership.

I asked for it. He spend a few minutes to check. Then said The car isn't calling for one and if there isn't any apparent problems to the car, no updates would be done.

Actually, I definitely think this is a good policy with a car, and maybe even with computers as well. Had too many bugs induced via updates . . .

The reason why I asked is because I wondered if he quoted you a price, but apparently he didn't correct?

But the benefits and potential HP I could get just from a BMW Update, I want it, FREE! I have an older car '08, but with that said, I am a believer of "If it's not broken, don't fix it!" Updates should be free, but that's

My old SA even let me drive a Dinan modded 135i that was in Vegas for the SEMA show back when I had my 1er. Now that was pretty cool and totally unexpected.
