Help needed: M3 ED order problem
I ordered an M3 a couple of weeks ago, for European Delivery. Deposit was taken & processed and I got a copy of the order description.
Here's the problem. After 2 weeks, the dealer says they still haven't been able to get a production number. Is this normal or should I be concerned ? |

It's too bad you didn't check here before ordering. Ryan @ Steve Thomas would have been able to take care of you properly.

there is a shortage of allocations. no one has the favoritism. Just be patient.

I'm a little confused. I've read on this forum that EDs don't come from the dealer's allocation and that all that's needed is a production number from BMW. Is that true ? In any case, why is there a shortage or a delay in getting an ED into production ?
