Get you home lights - HELP PLEASE!!!!
Now this may be a stupid question.....and I have read the handbook....but I can't figure out how to make the headlights stay on for a minute when you lock the car.
The only way I can make this happen is by using the courtesy light feature (set to 60 secs) but this requires the main bean to be flashed after turning the car off. Nearly every car I have had before (and my current Merc E class) put the lights on for a minute when you lock the door. Please help...this is driving me nuts! Thanks a lot Mark |

It only works if you flash the headlight.
Here is from the manual (page 102): Pathway lighting If you activate the headlamp flasher after switching off the ignition with the lamps switched off, the low beams come on and remain on for a certain time. Setting the duration or deactivating 1. "Settings" 2. "Lighting" 3. "Pathway light.:" 4. Set a time of duration, or 0 s to deactivate the function.

You have to flash the high beams before you exit and lock the car. I have mine set to two minutes to allow for "buggering about" time.
