Hey guys, I'm interested but already signed up for a Sieya Motorsports day at Mosport on Oct. 6. Don't think I have enough tires left for two track days, but thinking I may still swing by to check you guys out on the Friday. Haven't met most of you yet, so this could be a good opportunity. Is this cool?
By the way, I have been thinking about organizing a ride for one day this fall.. basically meet up and go drive some of my favorite twisty roads. Any of you interested in this? |

Does anyone know a place to get a helmet that MoSport would approve - that's not too crazily priced?

Whats your budget? I bought mine at Mantis in Oakville - around $500 or so. SA 2005 rated. I know that there are a few places in Toronto that sell SA helmets. IMO its worth investing a bit more and having a helmet you can take to any track. I know some people you motorcycle helmets and havent had any problems though. |

Rob & I are thinking of trying something a little different this time.Continue with the clockwise direction to lunch & switch to the counter clockwise for the afternoon. Here is a video of laps in the CCW direction.
What do you guys think? |

I like the idea. In this video it looks like it may be slightly faster in that direction - but perhaps it is because this direction is straight down the hill rather than though the tight bit. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Oct 2.
