dinan and TSX
Anyone get a call from Canaccord regarding this? They have offer privately shares prior being listed on the TSX in few months.

I have as well, even a couple of emails. I went to the a Dinan sponsored event at a local dealership a few months back. Steve Dinan was there talking about up and coming things and also his intent to go public. Canaccord was also there to talk to potential investors. Seemed interesting by I personally have not looked at it in any detail.

I got invited to that event but missed it cause I wasn't in town. Humm. Interesting. The only thing I got was to setup the account. Do you have any addition info? Thank you.

I will check to see if I have any of the related material still and let you know. I also just noticed the Investor link on the Dinan website is gone? Not sure what that is about. From what I recall it was going to be listed under the TSX Venture Capital Company pool program.

I dont seem to have any of the info anymore. The only thing I have is a fluff piece about Dinan with some Cannacord contact info. If you want the contact info to request an Investor Kit, let me know.

I don't think I could invest in Dinan because then I would find it too easy to justify buying their stuff. "I am just supporting my investment dear.."

A buddy of mine went with me to the event and we joking about the same thing and what I would say to the wife "I know I already have an M3 honey, but think of the new Dinan 3 as an investment in our future, and by the way you need to start parking the SUV in the driveway!" No matter how many time I replayed the conversation in my head, I always ended up sleeping on the couch!

^^^ Does that mean that your M3 does not get a spot in the garage now?
Blasphemy.

Very cool. It's interesting to see that even such a reputable company in the sector is still tiny.
It's also interesting to see the m3 engine dev costs were estimated at $280k. That's not something a typical tuner shop would be able to spend. Either other firms scrimp, or Dinan truly does engineer their products to a much higher standard than the norm. |
