AFE x pipe need exhaust help
Good afternoon!
I am currently installing the AFE catted x pipe and wanted to see if anyone else had done so, and which brand rear section or mufflers you had gone with. Any videos would be extremely helpful as the amount of content on YouTube is very minimal. Thank you in advance! Pic of my 08 Melbourne over fox, 46k mile car. Jordan

Just go bump this up I decided to just install the midpipe and leave the oem muffler in place. It is maybe 10% louder but a much better sound. I think I’ve decided on supersprint race mufflers. I’ll keep this updated. The AFE midpipe quality is very nice, and it does have Gesi cats.

Well i’ve had AFE’s catted X-pipe for some time and switched from an ACM exhaust mod to Akra Slip on and there was definitely a dramatic change lol. It is a bit underwhelming with the Akra at wide open throttle but it sounds vicious and bassy at low RPMS. ACM was just off the walls but i’ll stick with my Akra, it helps keeps balance between the Compressor noise and exhaust.

The SuperSprint Race or F1 is definitely a great middle ground, even a corsa muffler.
