Earlier today I won the following BaT auction:

Seems like the first step upon delivery is to get the rod bearings replaced. In fact, is the following guidance from ChatGPT fully accurate?

Well congrats on the car. Properly modified, that will be some sublime top down driving in the fall. You are right to address the rod bearings and motor mounts immediately. BE bearings with ARP bolts is the unofficial standard but ACL and even VAC have had fine results. I would not put new oem bearings in, personally.
