At least they put it in what would have been the correct spot, instead of below the plate or below the Chevy script. Sometimes you just have to shake your head and walk away. The world is full of them.

I once had the sort-of-opposite happen.

Soon after buying my (used) airhead decades ago, I parked one day in front of a restaurant. A young man came up to me and politely asked what kind of motorcycle it was. I pointed to the roundel and said BMW. He replied that he thought it was a joke.
