Are headlights with washers interchangeable with regular headlights?
I have a pair of Bayoptiks headlights up for trade (I want OEM’s) and I’ve gotten a few interested people who have OEM’s from cars with headlight washers. My car does not have washers. Would this work for a swap or are the headlight assemblies unique due to the washers?

I have an ‘09 that came with headlight washers. I purchased a BMW oem Euro front bumper from iND and had them mold the oem front CF splitters to the bumper before painting. The Euro bumper did not have cutouts for the washers so I just zipped tied the washer jets to the front bumper inner structure and they were never used again. You should be able to install oem lights with washer jets, which are not an integral part of the headlights, without issue. Below is a pic showing no water jets.

The washers are part of the bumpers not the headlights, so makes no difference.
I have an 09 built Aussie delivery and it has the euro spec bumpers with the washers, belive this was standard for Aussie spec M3’s for what it’s worth. |
