Help... Which differential fluid??
So I'm at 92k miles and I would like to flush all the fluids to assure they are fresh.
Which differential fluid do I need to use for my 2011 E93 6MT?? ECS Tuning shows two different ones which are both genuine BMW?? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...j/83222357992/ https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/83222282583/ Are these the same thing in different bottle types?? |

And then there is also this kit, which has even a different looking bottle, but also includes the drain and fill bolts.
Which one of these three should I get? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...QaArsbEALw_wcB |

After reading around on here I ordered castrol syntrax 75w-140 LS, €18/0.5L instead of €45 with the dealer. Haven't done the job yet but from what I read it seems to contain just about enough FM.

This is the correct fluid for your car. The other link you posted with the grey bottles with green tops will work also. They were just superseded by the new clear bottles with red tops. Same fluid., BMW just decided to save some cash and get rid of the extended fill neck.

Do I need new fill/drain bolts every time I flush? I'm at 92k miles... Not sure if/how many times it's been done before. |

The plugs have o-rings. You don’t need new plugs but I don’t think you can buy the orings separately so you are stuck with buying both. Maybe someone has a source for orings. I think it’s reasonable to buy new plugs and orings after ~10 years and 92k miles, but if I was changing the fluid every 30k miles, I would not buy them.

i myself just bought the Castrol kit since most people on the forum had no issues with it.(i did see one person with issues with chatter: ). There is someone selling oem fluid in the for sale section if that's what you want.
