E90 M3 to 1M
So I made the switch from an E90 M3 with the glorious S65 that I still do miss to a beautiful Alpine White 1M. I will say, the stock power on this is great, the sounds from the Meistershaft Exhaust keeps my S65 depression down, and the steering is unlike I have ever felt. So far I'm really happy with the jump but I do miss the sedan part of the E90 and I really do miss the V8 sounds.
Car is equipped with KW V3's, M Performance spoiler, GT Haus mid/rear section, dinman side skirts, and also has a carbon front lip. In the world of "Special cars" the 1M is certainly up there, and I have to imagine has a lot of the same fun factor that the M2 has given the shorter wheel base and packaging.
Great pickup, everyone knows the N54 was a great platform even if it's different from the S65, low end torque makes those cars a blast on the street. I absolutely loved my M235i even with it's wimpy steering.

Congrats. I've had a 1M for a year now and recently got a '12 ZCP E92. Truly different driving cars but both are great fun. 1M is pretty raw, snappy and quick. The M3' s straight piped sound is just insane and the DCT is wonderful.

I'm just amazed at how much more attractive this is to my eyes than the 2 series/M2 shape.
Those curves... just wow. She's a beaut! |

I went from 335 to M3 and I love both in different ways. In the end I do prefer the M3 by quit a margin. To think about the N54 in the 1M body is enough to make this trade up worthy IMO. The car is beautiful man enjoy!

I also went from my 335 to the M3. Loved the 335 but the M3 is a different experience.
I'd still take the 1M over my M3 though!
