Exhaust System Pass SMOG
I'm want to get an exhaust system for my E92 2013 M3.
I heard that other than the OEM M Performance exhaust, all other exhaust system will not pass SMOG especially in California. Also, Since I have an extended warranty on my Car using Ally, will installing an exhaust system (even at BMW Dealership) void the warranty? Thank you for the help. |

Any exhaust that does not touch the primary cats will pass smog in California. They no longer do a visual so all you need is to pass emissions readiness.
Can't comment on warranty as every single extended warranty company is different and will deny claims differently than one another. I will say when I had extended warranty from bmw a couple years back, I came in with fully catless exhaust and tune and they still worked on my car. |
