I will follow the thread, your project is amazing !
Are the Profi SPG XL seats the same as the ones in the M3 GTS ? Or in this one are they the normal version ? In addition, where did you do the job with the alcantara and leather ? I don't think they are like that when they come out the factory of Recaro. I ask that 'cause I will be in Germany till March 2015

Awesome built thread! An inspiration to us all. Where did you get your front flaps (canards)? I'm interested! Can't wait to see more!

Great info/details for an outstanding track car! Hope to do something similar to my M3 one day... Are you doing most of the work yourself? Or do you have BMW-trained mechanic who is helping you out? Cheers, & HNY! SF

I'm doing it together with a friend who has the knowledge I don't have at all. I'm just a fast driver.
The car should gain something around 15s at the Ring on a BTG round. Last edited by TomElektro; 01-03-2015 at 04:58 PM.. |

15 seconds is a lot. Can't wait to see the finished car doing a fast lap on the Ring, or somewhere else.

In about two weeks the M3 will get it's roll cage. I'm really excited and I hope that we will get the car ready for the installation in time. There's still plenty to do...
This is how the cage will look like: The car will not only become much safer with it but also torsion resistent as hell. It will be nice to feel the road better and being able to tell what's going on with the car than before.
