Hey guys, question for those of you running the tune from Alex's group buy.

I'm currently stock Xpipe with Mperformance rear section.

For those of you who have ran the tune being stock, was there any issues you ran into?

Also, with this tune I eventually want to run a decatted Xpipe and or with Test Pipes. Any recommendations on brands?

Car has 29k miles, I'd be running this tune for a long time likely as I plan on keeping the car for years to come. Any tips is appreciated, feel free to DM if you'd rather not post reply in forum!

Thanks in advance!

I have been using stock X pipe and MP exhaust for over a year and running stage one Alpine MSS tune with no issues. I am not willing to go without primary cats due to NYC inspection.

Anyone run the super burbles tune in here?

Or a it for a week, it's insane, its just it violently jerks the car.. I've got no cats, only the original resonators.

My exhaust is a ipe f1 valvetronic exhaust. I have the valves open so it's straight piped... even before this iPE exhaust I had a CNT exhaust and it would violently jerk the car..

Anyone ever come across this issue? I've requested 2 tunes one with super and one with regular burble. Nothing else changed. I've also request a different super burble tune and it turned out the same..

I have no primary or secondary cats and a CNT muffler with no issues running the more aggressive burbles. Been loving it since he started offering it.

does your tune have more burbles or pops and crackles ? The one I have "burbles" on decel on a hard acceleration. The "pops" sound like a gun shot and I have experienced it in the lower rpm ranges.

Does your car have an aggressive jerk at any point?

You're saying you've got the "super burbles"?

I'm just trying to find out why it does that lol

I love the tune, but to flash back to stock do we just load the flash first file in the folders?

Correct. That is the 241e file.

Alex can send you tunes for with and without primary cats. Stage one until the test pipes go in, then load up stage two. 7 minutes with a laptop. Too easy.

No jerk. Yes I have the burble tune you're talking about, I just never heard Alex refer to them as "super burbles" lol. His first one was subtle, and then he recently offered a more aggressive burble tune.

Jerkiness on cold start is not uncommon but there should be none when the engine is warm.

Is there a separate tune for intake aside from stage 1?

I need to smog my car, in CA. I go to a smog shop that doesn't give much look at cats. Do you guys know if stage 2 would be able to pass? I am not sure what state the readiness is in.

Tunes will not allow all monitors to pass. You need to go stock tune and stock cats for all your monitors to pass. Here in CA we have stricter emissions regulations so it's not like other states where they allow 1 monitor to fail

I would guess so. I was just a tune before the intake. he sent me a separate map.

Even when warm, it'll backfire and violently jerk the car forward

Then something is wrong. I’d start with a high quality scan tool, but my guess is that your burble tune is the problem. The burbles are a form of backfires.

There have been a bunch of them. Start at page 1 and work your way through until you find the expired one you are looking for.
