I got the Kremersino unit: https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/...Id=33009517630

Arrived in less than a week w/free shipping, all in for ~$300.

I'm just getting to know it, but I do like it so far. I posted more impressions on the Carplay thread here: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=254

I've been eyeing these for 5 years, 1472 days, finally pulled the trigger, should go well with my interior.

Would go great with BMW branded calipers.

They were replaced when I bought the car a year ago. Since then they haven't hit much.

Now today I will trap an alligator.

Just ticked 70,000 miles.

This is when I realized that my car is actually aging backwards. I like to think of the e9x platform like a bottle of wine....

It only gets better with age. Well... here is to another 70,000 kick ass miles and smiles.

Cheers lads!!!

Drove it 530 miles to New Orleans. The 1 and only valet guy at the hotel that has ever touched the car was super cool and very professional (hotel is valet only, secured garage). He actually did a walk around and I signed saying there was no pre existing damage, so let's hope it stays that way!

Finalized oil change from yesterday and she took 9 liters exactly. Oil drained for about 2 hours. Did the push to start and release brake a few times to lube her up before running her as she was pretty dry.

Did some roll racing (1/3 mile) with my E90 M3 yesterday at an air strip event. Got couple of very close wins vs some American muscle: Stock challenger hellcat 6mt, full bolt on V2 CTS-V (560WHP) and a stock C7 Z06. The Z06 was having 3 gear issues.

Was the only E90/E92 m3 racing so it was pretty fun to surprise the muscle boys with the M holding its own.
Car is DCT with ESS625 kit.

I had a mobile leather restorer come out. He had the codes for the interior colour and just sprayed them.
Took him an hour to clean the front seats and and an hour and a bit to spray them. Left for 12hrs to dry and that's it.

Now I'm thinking to have the rear ones done too. 😁
