Gentlemen, gentlemen...you are ruining the Anchorman references with your cat fight. I hate red but for that package, ill deal with it. Will not be DD and I don't care about interior much. Will be purely a fun car.

Given your needs, get the Z06 hands down. Having both a supercharged M3 and heavily worked Z06 I can tell you that the M3 (even with a blower) is extremely boring in comarison to the Z06 in all aspects. You wont be dissappointed with the vette, pull the trigger.

I'm not getting what I want for the M so I'm prob going to have to convert back to stock. For sale thread has garnished interest but nothing serious. You'd think $40k for my car modded as it is would be a steal.

Feel free to post wherever you want, but don't expect to be well received by anyone when you call people douche bags. My apologies to the OP for disrupting the line of Anchorman jokes and disturbing the thread. |

My take on this.
I had a 135i, sold that went to a 03 viper with just under 500whp but just sold that, fun car but so raw, no refinement and it just wasnt for me. Im considering a c6z now OR an M3. Totally different cars I know, but I more enjoy the refinement of a BMW to an american beast (I think, unless the z06 is drastically drastically different from my viper) I dont want the m3 to feel slow, which I feel it may from what im used to. The z06 is a sexy car all the way down to..the rear end, such a turn off for me. Chances are I do go M3 this time around. These arent my dailys btw. Ive also got a b8 A4 with full stasis bolt ons and software so in a sense ive already got that german touch in my collection so perhaps the z06 madness is a better route Not sure if this was relevant whatsoever but oh well lol. |

Which ESS kit do you have? Have you ever raced a modded ZO6 with your kit? With all those airstrip videos it seems the supercharged M's do quite well against the vettes. But if I had the choice between that ZO6 you posted and an M, I'd take the Vette all day long!

OP, if you end up with a Z06(i hope you do) and interior starts to bug you like it bugs me...these type of sales happen all the time over on CF.com
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...kend-sale.html I've gone ahead and purchased DSV steering wheel, console lid, tunnel drapes, shift knob/boot and ebrake handle/boot. All under $1800. That still leaves the seats(about the worst seats ever put in ANY car). My plan for that is to get Caravaggio race seats which will be heated(race and heated, da fuq right?)...the seats will run me about $3k shipped, maybe a bit less. So interior will run me about $5k, well thats a lot but not really...but after i upgrade these pieces my interior will be right where i want it and wont have any complaints

I really like the vette.
Only 3 reasons I haven't bought one yet: 1) Not 50 yet 2) My mullet hasn't come in all the way yet 3) My chest hair isn't long enough yet to poke through my shirt and nestle a nice big gold chain

Not really. Researched the car through Katech and Xtreme. So far they aren't willing to budge on price. I'm not paying what they are asking, lol. I need to save that money for more gold and product for my mullet...
