Thank you --- took ten about ten to fifteen minutes. If anyone wants matte black grills they're yours for the cost of shipping or local pickup in DC.

I just clipped each tab with a small pair of dykes. Clip, clip, clip and they pretty much fall out. Way easier and faster.

Little bit of a predicament: the kidney grills are in, no problem. The problem is I cannot get the torx screws to screw back into the metal clips (not sure of the name). It seems the metal clips threads are at an angle and the torx screws cannot catch the threads, thus cannot screw in properly. The torx screw just turns and doesn't tighten. I have 1 of 4 in but the other 3 will just not catch.
Anyone else run into this issue? The bumper is not aligned and do not want to drive without at least getting another 1 or 2 in properly.

Does anyone know where you can get these grills with the chrome/polished part blacked out? Every one I find doesn't seem to fit the M3 model. Only regular 3 series. I have a 2011 so LCI as well.
