structurally, that makes sense. but i thought its primary purpose was to keep the cf roof from buffeting at speeds? the cage would need to give it a middle gluedown point too then, and it's $70 to check it out.

The main hoop will provide this function. Just have the cage builder account for it.

Or add it, I guess.
