Did you put 265 rear winter tires ?
If yes, is it good in the snow ? My brother has a 645 equipped with 245 rear winter tires and he had problems if there is too many snow or if he has to start in a climb... He has bought chains now.

Now I see that roads were not fully recovered by snow in the background. My dad has the same wheels+tires on his E93 than yours. He drives the car during winter when roads are clean. It's amazing because the E93 is so heavy that even if temperatures are below zero the car doesn't drift so much. With my E92 it's an another story and I have to be very careful with the throttle lol (I have PS2 too).

Just drove home from work on streets covered with ~ 2" snow. Boston got dumped on again today and the M did pretty well on Dunlop Winter Sport 3D. Love this beast!

Sucked. Had to leave my car in this shopping plaza. Luckily, everything was as I left it

My guess is he was looking for some heat relief.
I'll post a new snow pic in October...
