I agree...I'm interested to see what BMW has in mind but I'm not sure if it will be cheeper...they are already selling the GTR exhaust (it is Arka by the way) for 7,600 !!!!!!!!!!

If not many get Eisenmann.

The Akra Slip on is great, but most of the guys who have got the full exhaust from us have easily said it's the best exhaust, and they're glad they didn't go with the slip on. Either way you go, you're getting a quality system.

The GTR has a Boysen exhaust and it's the GTS that has the Akrapovic. Boysen is a apparently a supplier and not an aftermarket company. I don't know the details on that exhaust. See this thread about half down the first page:

Why would you spend $3k+ on a slip-on exhaust that has 1) no power gain 2) barely any sound gain?

Sounds like the dumbest thing you can do... I mean beyond dumb...

Get the full system if anything, I've heard the full-Akra and it doesn't sound that much louder over stock. To the trained ear yes, but nothing insane like the Eisenmann and other race systems.

Wait for the OEM BMW silencer system that should be here in a month, I'm very interested to see/hear that system as well...

Not the skip-on but the Akrapovic Evo Full Line exhaust is mos def worth it. If you’re going to invest many $1000s on a slip-on, you may as well spring for the full exhaust. My titanium akrapovic full exhaust absolutely perfectly compliments my s65 m3. The two together are something sweet. It only gets like 16+ & 34+ extra whp & torque, respectively.. 24kg less weight. This Ain’t the point tho. It’s the smooth sounds of the exhaust notes, esp at WOT 🔥🤤🥶🥶 the sound is absolutely unreal! I got my e92 N54 stage 2+ sounding like an F1 car but doesn’t compare to my M3 akrapovic sound. Beautiful 🤩! So many other exhaust owners like Dinan, VRSF, Magna, FMS etc come up to me at gas stations just to listen to the Akrapovic. No shzz bmw M bikes now use Akrapovic as their top exhaust dealer upgrade. The ONLY (and best) mod on my M3 is the Full Akrapovic fasho 🔥🏃‍♂️

lol Did you notice you’d bumped a 15yo thread? Nothing against Akra. I have the Akra Evo system installed on my e92 M3. Stage 2 tunes developed specifically for the Akra Evo eliminates the ~2k rpm dip in the torque curve and extracts even more out of the car at 8.6k rpm (raised redline). Very little difference in peak power and overall rpm power between my AA full exhaust with HFCs with stage 2 tune (8.6k rpm) and the Akra Evo system. Biggest difference is in sound. AA has a very exotic high pitched sound whereas the Akra Evo has an extremely smooth lower pitched sound. I get about the same number of compliments about both exhausts. However, it’s impossible to argue with the owners of GT3s, GT2s, Ferraris, Lambos, etc. when the drivers of said cars are complementing you on the sound of the AA full exhaust. I’ve never had the e92M3 with the Akra Evo me (other e92 M3 has a 3.62 FD DCT LSD) when we go on drives together so I’ve always been curious what they’d say about the sound of the Akra Evo exhaust.
