"equipped with Macht Schnell Competition Spacer kit: (18mm front, 15mm rear)"
is this safe? i would imagine 18mm longer studs to raise some safety issue in addition to strain on the hub since the center mass of the rim is being pushed outward. but what do i know. some insights would be appreciated since i want a flush setup but afraid of potential prolonged issues. We typically do not recommend running larger than a 20mm spacer (regardless of application) without moving to an adapter setup - or preferably, moving to a wheel with a different offset.

could you go even more aggressive? Did the 12mm front and 5mm rear result in the wheels being flush with the fender?
I am really interested in doing this as well...

Here is one dilema you may run into with larger than 5mm rear spacers. Since the rims are 1/2 wider it allows you to put wider tires on in the future. Once the tires wear out I no doubt plan on going wider. With that said. If you go 10mm rear and they are flush with the fender with stock tires, they will obviously rub if you go with wider tires. I am just using random spacer sizes but I think you get the point. That is why I am going to hold off on getting spacers.

For someone who is going to keep the oem tires with the zcp wheels, I am guessing you would recommend 15fr and 10rr?

david, that is the setup you used on the zcp m3 you guys did with the wider tires. Tom (a few posts above) mentioned that oem tires would need a more aggressive spacer setup.
I would like to make them as flush as possible. When I eventually change my tires for a wider stance, I will change my spacer setup if needed...
