Is Fabspeed X-pipe for me?
I'm looking for something thats not that expensive doesn't necessarily have to give me performance gains but adds a little something to the sound. Lets the car let out its voice if you will.. i think the car is fast enough for me as it is... But the bark just isn't there for what i think an m3 should have.
does the xpipe have a louder sound to it because it gets rid of the secondaries... Is the fabspeed x-pipe my best option. I want the product to be a no fuss sitiuation..simply BOLT ON. walk away. let me know what everyone thinks be gentle i have been reading and searching for days. i get my jerez sedan on october 13th. |

you guys both have exhaust and your reviews didn't answer any of my questions
i'm wondering if keeping the stock exahust and cats while just getting the xpipe will make it louder...if its just a bolt on situation with no problems...and if it will sound good? If its the best option for what i'm looking for under a grand? |

Under a grand you don't really have any options unless a used Remus Race comes up for sale.

without HFC's, it should still add some volume and definitely some rasp (esp. if you go without the resonators). I think the sound would be great (a touch louder than stock until you really step on it, then it'll get loud), and you'd pick up a few ponies by deleting the resonators and secondary cats. |

You don't need a reflash, but a reflash could yield additional power. Last edited by Singletrack; 10-06-2009 at 12:02 PM.. |

I personally do not think it is raspy with this setup. You do not need to get the ECU reflashed in order to install our system. We only use the best German HJS cats that will not throw a CEL. We just completed 20 new sets on Friday. I can get a nice fresh system out the door today for ya! |
