FYI, it did happen. We had about 40 cars. By 9 AM, the sun was out, and it turned out to be a beautiful day. We had a nice selection of cars, including an M1, several different generations of M3s, and an M2. What's an M2? That's a 2002 that was fully restored, but with an M3 engine (not sure what year), plus E30 suspension. We also had an Alpina coupe that had been imported. All in all, there was a nice selection, even if it was fewer cars than prior years.

Yes, I did end up stopping by for a quick look around. I was just leaving when the M1 pulled up. I was very surprised to see that car there. I was also drooling over the Alpina and the M2. I will try to post a few pictures when I have a chance.
PS Did you have the Jerez Black sedan there? I did a double take because I have an 09 and I swear they are a slightly different color. My car seems to have more blue in it. I would be interested in a side by side comparison. If it was your car, it was looking very nice!

A side-by-side would be interesting. I had a Carbon Black Metallic 2002 E39 M5, and it was similar -- sometimes it was very blue, sometimes very black, and sometimes both. What did you think of the show?

The show was great! I think the rain the day before and the wet streets that morning scared some people off. I wish I could have hung around longer but my son had a soccer game at 2. I really enjoyed seeing the 2002's and 3.0 CS's. I have a 1976 2002 in my barn which is in need of a restoration. It made me want to start that project this winter...
I will post a few pictures from Sunday later today.

About a month late, but better than never I suppose. The last shot is of Herb Chambers personal Maclaren F1 from cars and coffee last weekend. That thing is a work of art.
