New Supersprint race Exhaust + GruppeM + Software update
Just to let you guys know about my recent mods.
I though my car needed to have some breathing to match the engine and a GruppeM CAI was installed. Here the engine sound was so much better and i fell the response was also improved. After breathing right, i though that the exhaust gases needed to be out more quickly. So a new exhaust was needed. New supersprint race exhaust with hi flow cats + X pipe without silencers + rear race exhaust. Well, install was ok, no problems. When we started the engine, i just said OMG. The sound was loud in the warm up period after that it lowered a bit. When we pushed the throttle a little bit the sound was crazy loud. ( i might have to get a silenced X pipe ).Will let you know in high speed what´s the sound inside the cabin. After that a software update to remove speed limiter and give it a few HP also. Here are some pics of the install. ( the first two pics are the stock exhaust that weights a ton ) Ps: Sorry for my bad english. Best Regards, Maika

Well, the install of the complete pipe took about 3 hour, but we were having some fun along the way.
If you plan to install this X pipe in another exhaust brand you have to do some cut and welding for sure. Maybe 1 hour or so. Best Regards, Maika

It´s a bolt on but for the original supersprint exhaust.
If you plan to use in the stock muffler it will have to be modified. Best Regards, Maika

He has Supersprint not Eisenmann mufflers. They were too loud and droned to much for me to even without x-pipe. They do sound tough though, and their quality is nice.

Went for a spin on the highway and the sound inside the cabin is acceptable if you stay under 100 MPH and bellow 4000 rpm in 7th gear.Best Regards, Maika

Regarding GruppeM, with my old stock exhaust the sound of the gruppe M was more noticeable, now with the supersprint i barelly can ear that effect of the gruppe M. Best Regards, Maika

Why would you need an X-pipe when the stock system has an X-pipe?
Are those first cats clamped at both ends? Can they be removed easily, or do you have to do some cutting?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Not to sure but I think the first two cats can´t be removed, although compared to stock they are high flow 100psi cats. For the gruppeM + complete supersprint exhaust and ECU update it´s around 5500 Euros and similar to 7000 USd. Things in Europe cost a fortune and for that i had to sell my left kidney. Quote:
I didn´t took a pic of the stock exhaust in the car, but if you make a search you will find tons. I have already promissed i vid and i will try to do it. Best Regards, Maika

Looks great, congrats.
It's actually good value for a header-back system that's made in Europe by a well known company. I might have not gone the route of GruppeM exhaust if the full system had been out last year.
