Stupid safety message pops up after update
I noticed recently the annoying safety message that pops up on the iDrive display upon starting. It requires a push of the back arrow on the screen to get rid of. This only appeared after the latest update.
I dont remember the exact message. I will take a snapshot when I get out to the car tomorrow. Can anyone advise how to make it so this message doesn't pop up every time I start the car? Thanks |

This message pops up on every BMW currently produced each time you start the car. Your car must've had it coded off until your recent update put it back to default.

This is why I suggested you code and then disable OTA updates (app and car) - if you don't, every 2-4 months your car overwrites all the stuff you decided you liked better a different way with no warning whatsoever. For me the kicker was my 3 different stages of LED lighting colors all done manually by hex values. The 3rd time I had to recode that (and my stupid tachometer reverted to POWER METER?) I decided I had had enough. Also, the power meter % is absolute hot garbage - its still an ICE car, show me the tach, obviously if my foot is 100% down I am asking for 100% power?!!?!?

Not for nothin, but, i never have to actively move away from that warning. Its there when i turn on the car, by the time i reverse out of my garage, and then down my driveway, it is gone and my media player is showing.
