I'm 6ft 175lbs and have run the following seats:
Sparco: Circuit 2: One the best fitting of the seats I've run if you're okay with a halo, fits pretty tight and has similar bolster support to the Evo. Evo S: Slightly tight but had a great balance of bolster support & comfort if you're driving on the street at all. I think a standard Evo would be perfect. QRT-R: Pretty similar to the Evo but the bolster side support isn't as tall as I'd like.... Only noticed this after sitting in a Pro2000 (plan on switching to the Pro2000 soon). Grid - lower bolsters but solid shoulder support. It's way too wide for my waist though (I run it as a passenger seat to accommodate bigger folks). Seems like a great option for anyone a bit more hefty than me. (36+ waist)

i don't know anything about the qrt replacing the evo XL, but the QRT-c is going to be made in a larger size in full carbon.

Trying to figure out what seat rails work with Edirb 023s I picked up.. I've bought a set of Bride RO rails specific to the E92 that come with the mounts, rails and seat belt anchor but looking for something to tide me over while I wait for these to arrive..
They are bottom mount reclineable seats and the dimensions are.. 405mm (width) x 260 mm (length) or 345mm (width) x 260 mm (length) can anyone help me out? |

The guys that have used Brey Krause mounts on oem powersliders, was anyone able to keep the memory option functional?
I would like to keep this if possible, instead of doing the window switch mod. |

I don't have Evo XLs, or a M3 but I got OMP WRC-Rs in my 1 series, which everyone said was impossible.
For floor mounts the Bimmerworld ones have the most flexibility, with VAC just behind. For side mounts I used a basic OMP unit and turned the inside two 180* (and swapped sides) so they didn't interfere with the trans tunnel. This allowed me to move the seats slightly inward to get them to clear the door cards. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...RoCyccQAvD_BwE |

I am removing my door cards which I’m hoping is enough to fit the bigger seat options and also have the placement be correct.

Sparco QRT Performance - Alcantara with leather and grey stitching. Mounted with Sparco side mounts, Sparco sliders, and Planted Technology base (Sparco base is a exactly the same base, labelled Sparco). This seat does not fit well. I do not drive an M3 but a 2009 e91 LCI wagon. 1. Although this seat is advertised as suitable for both 3 point and 4 point seat belts, it is not ideal to work with the factory 3 point seat belt. Seat belt clip mounting point is not ideally located. Instead of clip mounted onto seat or seat bracket so it moves with seat when sliding back/forth, it is in a fixed location on the base. If you slide seat forward, clip is too tight/too far back. Slide farther back, clip is too slack/too far forward. Also seat belt clip isn't correct height and does not reach through the seat's seat belt hole, and is not tall enough to mount outside of the seat. Also, seat belt clip's mount is pressing too tightly into the center console. 2. I am 5' 9". When seat is slid into my ideal seating distance, the seat's right leg opening is hitting center console while left shoulder bolster hits b-pillar. I had to mount my seat onto the sliders by offsetting the right slider forward by 3-4 clicks to angle the seat and point slightly outwards (towards a-pillar). I'll see how it performs at the track in 2 weeks but I'll likely take these out immediately after and only mount and remove for track use only. With the seat belt not properly fitting and the absence of side airbag, I am not comfortable dailying this seat. |

Hey Busta did you ever find a solution to this fitment issue? I have the same seats and all the same issues with the same sparco bases. Im 5'10" and i run the seat fairly forward so the right side of the seat rubs the center console. My seatbelt just barely clears the side of the seat so I can clip it in and still get good placement and tension there but the rubbing against the console is definitely annoying. Planning to run a piece of felt there for now till I can figure something else out. I did tilt the seat on the mounts to center myself to the steering wheel so thats what contributing to the seat rubbing the console.

If anyone is curious about the Rain Art Seat from OMP I am 6'3" and 220lbs. I fit tight but fit safely in the halo version just fine. They only make the rain seat in the regular so you can't go smaller or larger. Paired with the PCI mount and a slider I sit super low and love it.

I also shoved some padding behind the Alcantara backing to push myself forward a little, bringing me slightly close to the steering wheel and giving my shoulders more clearance from the concavity. Also helps with lumbar support. I forgot to mention in my previous post, that the seat's shoulders are too narrow. I'm not a big guy but my shoulders have to round forward to fit in the seat. Then my arm has to twist awkwardly to shift gears. Going into 2nd and 4th gears, my shoulder would press up against the bottom of seat's shoulders pad. End of a drive or track session, I'd end up with a sore shoulder. Last edited by busta604; 12-04-2025 at 05:14 PM.. |

I ended up getting Recaro Sportser S seats. Vey nice and comfortable, but still a huge improvement over stock seats for track use. I'm skinny, about a size 32 waist, I do still move a bit side-to side, tighter bolsters would have been better for me. They're about the only aftermarket sport seat you can get with side air bags (some other Recaros have this but are not sporty, even the sporty looking Sport C does not have much side support for fast driving). Sat in Pole Position ABE seats too and also felt I could move around in them a bit still. obviously it's made to be a bit comfy. I tried a Profi SPG though and that was a perfect snug fit. Felt like it would be my ideal bucket seat, if I decide to go for proper buckets and rear-seat-delete. |

I currently have a Sparco Grid-Q installed with the Macht Schnell Clubsport Mount. I am happy with the seating position and the fitment. I am taller so the seat fits my height well, although it's not super tight. I have an odd body shape (broad shoulders, small waist, long torso) so I am happy to have something that fits me well enough. Can provide pics if needed!
