Help: Anyone running VTT coolant hoses??
Just replaced my thermostat and water pump, so decided to also replace the coolant hoses while I’m in here.
I opted for the VTT hoses because they come with pre-installed hose connectors. Come to find out that a couple of the hose connectors have a flat part inside that need to be lined up with the flat part inside of the connector on the expansion tank. Meanwhile, the connectors on the VTT kit have the flat part installed on opposite (or odd) angles compared to the stock connectors. How did you overcome this??? (I’ve attached photos of the stock hose connectors next to the VTT connectors, along with the a photo inside the connectors on the expansion tank). |

VTT products are garbage. I would never run their things on my car. I’m not surprised that it doesn’t work. Sorry to hear that you ran into problems

Finally got around to fitting the VTT Silicone Hose kit. Same issues as above. The below two hoses would not work properly. The thin one won't fit, and the thick one leaks at one of the connectors. Overall stay away from VTT.
