Weather sealing lexan windows

I bought a set of rear windows from hard Motorsport. Thing I’m unclear on is since they’re one piece (e90 here, we’ve got the little fixed window behind the sliding one), the existing weatherstrip doesn’t work anymore. Did any of you work with these? Do you use windshield sealer? Or just don’t seal it and try not to get rained on?

Mine don’t have seals and just use a little window sealant and hardware to keep in place. If there’s weather - I’m smoked no matter what because I have no front side windows.

Any chance you can put up some pics of the mount points? The windows I got have nuts along the vertical divider, and then just two at the bottom. Nothing securing the front top corner.

DOW 795 sealant, instead of windshield sealant.

What’s the difference?

I was recently told that butyl tape works best with lexan.
