O2 Sensor diagnosis confirmation
Hello everyone, I am new to owning an E9x M3
It sits now at 87k miles, not to long after I got it I got a CEL for a misfire in every cylinder and an a code for Random cylinder misfire. The car still drove “fine”, only thing I’m experiencing is an obv misfire on cold start and I s couple days ago it started misfiring like crazy and threw me in limp mode. All I had to do was turn the car off and on. I clear the codes but they come back around 2 days later. I bought the car from a European tech and I took it back to him so we could diagnose the issue. O2 Sensor for bank 1 sensor 1 reads at 0v which obv indicates that needs to be replaced. He told me that the other one also needs to be replaced based on the voltage reading. I had ordered only 1 and I’m not doubting what he is saying but I just want to get y’all’s opinion if I should replace the other one, below I’ll post a video of the readings when I’m driving normally Last edited by Zed117; 11-11-2024 at 11:22 AM.. |
