Long term Karbon Classe plenum

Hello.

Is there any long time user on a full carbon plenum from Carbon klasse?
How is it holding up? They use full carbon trumpets compared to others using aluminium feets/attachments.

Their products look good, but haven’t read any long time reviews?

Their customer contact/communication is a little challenging for me here in EU. And that never fells good…

So let me know, is there any UK or US long terms? ☺️

I have one of the original plenums where the bottom is the OEM plastic with a carbon lid and it’s been great thus far. No regrets what so ever.

I had one plenum like that before and that is a safe way to go. 👍

The air filter lid, is that Carbon klasse?

Yes, the lid is from them as well.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to not use aluminum flanges to attach the plenum trumpets. Carbon Klasse say they use only carbon fiber because of the varying thermal expansion rates of different materials, but all other manufacturers of full cf plenums, except Turner I believe, use aluminum flanges as far as I know. There must be a reason.

Eventuri's original design was cf only and they had issues with trumpets breaking, so they quietly updated the design and now it has aluminum flanges to reinforce the trumpets. I know Carbon Klasse uses additional rivets to secure the trumpets, something the original Eventuri design did not have, but I would still be concerned of failures happening eventually with this kind of design. Maybe they should have learned from Eventuri's mistake, but I hope it will hold up for the people who bought them.

I have not heard or read of any problems with the new Eventuri design or Karbonius which both use aluminum flanges. They seem to be solid.
