Smoke test s65 engine?
Hey guys I think I have a vacuum leak and was researching how to smoke test to find where it’s coming from. I’ve found nothing… is it even possible to smoke test the s65?

its not really possible to have much of a vacuum leak on this engine due to the lack of maf and where the throttle blades are in relation to the combustion chamber. what issues you having?

Check the IAT sensor hole. I chased an intake air leak for months due to misfires. Smoke/water tested the plenum but found nothing. Turns out the IAT sensor hole had the tabs damaged and it was leaking only under vacuum. Good luck. I effing hate chasing air leaks.
