PPF removal
Wanted to ask the community here, has anyone ever gotten their PPF removed on their cars? Was wondering how the results were and if any damage was done to clear coat/paint during removal process. Thanks!

just had the clear removed from a 2011 I picked up. I presume the clear had been on there for at least 10 years. it had yellowed a bit, and my detailed said it was a PITA to remove because it wouldn't come off in one piece. took him the better part of a day to remove from the hood and front bumper. they're definitely not lifetime products

Wow! Appreciate the response. From what I could find and read up on, it is a PITA for the shop removing it. I just don’t understand how it’s there to protect your paint, but over time, it will/has to be removed and in doing so, it could damage your clear coat or paint. I recently picked up a car and the entire vehicle has PPF which is approaching 5years and it’s starting to show some wear in areas(bubbling, dirt, peeling etc…) and I’m not sure how I should tackle this…
