Wrapped the A B C pillars in alcantara. The material was authentic alcantara and was very easy to work with, as was the glue. Very stoked with the finished product. Next is the headliners, which is prepped. So far this is a 5/10 difficulty job. You gotta have the right tools, patience, and basic problem solving for corners and curves when wrapping. I’ve never wrapped anything before in my life!

Got my oil change kit from fcpeuro this week so a fresh 9ish L of Motul and Mahle filter went in. It’s more work repackaging the oil to send back than the actual maintenance. Gotta love a relaxing garage session.

just bought $1100 worth of maintenance items...

Engine mounts
Transmission mounts
spark plugs
oil filter gasket
water pump
thermostat
temp sensor
camshaft position sensor(s)
plenum boots
all the assorted O-rings, nuts, and bolts...

3/29 - did a gasket change to HJS...new bolts and copper nuts from headers to xpipe.. adjust exhaust tips on muffler.. double checked to see if valves worked. did a FULL ISTA diagnostics of the car on to ensure proper operation. hence the above items.

Wow that's awesome, how does it fit after wrapping, even if the parts are now ''thicker'' ?

Haven’t reassembled yet because I have to do the headliner. The material is thin so I don’t anticipate any issues.

Went back to original grilles after 10 years with black. Feels fresh although lost 20HP.
Migh take off some other black details next step. Car is becoming a classic.

still don't understand why front PDC wasn't an option on this side of the pond. seems like such an odd thing to leave out if you're going to have a PDC option at all.

Wasn't aware, but yeah, why not have sensors in both end while at it. Even the fronts can be quite helpful at times.

Progress photo of headliner. The front console and dome light areas are a doozy, but so far so good.

Finished! A couple little wrinkles here and there that only I will notice but overall I give myself a solid B on the Headliner and an A+ on the pillars. I’ll put it all back in the car tomorrow.

Apparently the US front bumpers even have the markers labeled for where the sensors go on the inside. Idk why they couldn't have just drilled and installed them from factory. How much money did they really save? Just another reason for me to always reverse in though so that's fine 😂

Just have to install the front seats and then it’s done! I’m very happy with the result.

Loaded up all my new parts for my Indy to install, do inspections, etc.
  • solid subframe bushings
  • Rear rotors
  • Stainless brake lines
  • Rear sway bar links
Also getting a brake flush with some high temp fluid in anticipation of doing an HPDE or two this season, and a thorough check over for anything else that needs attention.

Would do some of it myself but just had a knee scope and can’t bend the knee or kneel on it yet, and also short on wrenching time these days.

Did you include the “center lines” in the rear? There two of them just behind the diff. Easy to access from under the car with exhaust removed and especially easy with rear subframe removed for bushing install.

Center brake lines you mean? If so, I think so. I got the BW full six line kit.
