***Back up for sale*** buyer funding issues. - MCS 2WR coilovers, front have quick disconnects, front Ground Control camber plates, front Bimmerworld swaybar endlinks, rear Ground Control articulating perches (750lbs/1000lbs). I can throw in a set of Burger low profile cabin air filters that will allow room to install the front remote reservoirs. MCS also confirmed these have been these have been built to the latest and greatest: “From my records your system was one of the first 2W (https://www.motioncontrolsuspension....-guide/2-way/) systems built with the latest components internally. Likely all it needs is the basic service. The 2W system is one of our first designs and has really been tried and true. Updates have included a coated piston to reduce noise for street use. Not necessary on a race configuration. And a bit different oil for greater temp range. This will be changed when the service is completed.” The seals are an older design however, but would be upgraded if the buyer decides to refresh them. I also have 550lbs and 1100lbs springs available if you want something else. I'd prefer local to not have to ship these, but I'll shipping for the right price. |

I bought the car 1 year ago from a friend with the MCS on the car already. I know him well and he threw them on the car ~4-5 years ago. He only did 1 total track days with the on the car and probably ~10 autocrssses in that time. He didn’t have any time to enjoy the car. I’ve only done 2 track days and ~10 autocrosses this year in the car. They only have ~10K total street/track miles in that time.

The front was setup without a tender/helper spring to gain as much inside clearance possible to fit the widest wheels and tires. I was able to fit 18x11s with 295 RE71RS in the front without issue. I calculated spring deflection and estimated ride height then found a spring of the longest length I could to still make it all work. These are 5.5” Hyperco 60mm springs up front. They were barely even preloaded at this ride height. The rears have tradition helper springs and they are partially compressed at the ride height I ran, with 8” springs in the rear. |
