I should be good to go for a meet on Saturday...taking car in for 2000 km service Friday, so Saturday afternoon and 8000 rpms on the Henday sounds nice! Has everyone had their break in service done? Any DCT's? If so, any problems with the service depts and the transmission fluid issue?
I'm 31, got my car from Bavaria. |

I should be able to make it on Sunday @ 3pm.
Purchased my car from Bavaria. Haven't had my break in service yet. Am a little anxious about the DCT issue but i think the mechs at Bavaria read the updates from BMW. How many cars were there from the E90 post meet? |

I think I was at Bavaria ordering my mats and pedals when you picked yours up...unless there's another SSII Silver interior DCT that just got picked up a month ago...doubt it LOL. I snuck a peek in the delivery room that day and I was so jealous: a) your color combo is unreal b) you got yours before me The transmission thing shouldn't be a problem...I've only told my CA, the manager and the service dept. about the issue 56 times, so word should be out. I will have a copy of the memo previously posted handy and stapled to the work order though. Plus, I rented a Red biplane to circle the dealership that afternoon with a banner dragging behind it reading: "Service Techs...M3 DCT CARS...DO NOT CHANGE TRANSMISSION FLUID" Guess I'll be the guinea pig on this one...I have to hear those 8000 rpms though. |

Hey guys,
Unfortunately I can't make it this Sunday, I will be working. I have about 1650 km on mine (have had it since July 4th). Called to book an appointment and I have to wait till the 11th!! (Bavaria). I can't wait to hit that redline and hear that engine sing! My Car is Black leather, 6mt, silver trim, exec package, m drive package, 19" rims, and AW (wish they had a carbon fiber roof for the e90, would look sweet with AW). I would love to see the M-DCT in your guys cars. I was tempted but stuck with the 6 MT, maybe my next M... |

I got my on July 11. I only have 350KM on it. It has been parked for 2 weeks. Currently I am at Fort Mac and the M3 is at Doug's place getting the reflectors removed. hehe. I can't wait to see what it look like then. I will post some pics later.
I had posted this on another thread, but if you guys are thinking getting the reflectors filled, go to a certified BMW body shop. There are only 5 BMW certified body shops in Canada, and Doug's place is one of them. Before I took delivery of the car, I had requested for the M mats, pedals, ///M trunk mat, ///M3 license plate holder, and to my surprise I was not charge for it. I guess I got lucky? They are still looking for the trunk mat for me. This is my first M3, second BM. The previous was a E46 328 with tons of mods. |
