Akra exhaust
I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence that I've been seeing many Akra exhausts being put up for sale or if it's something deeper?
What gives? I've been debating on going that route is the reason I ask. Is it just a coincidence or maybe it's because the volume of the exhaust is underwhelming? |

I have an Akra with the MS catless/resonated x-pipe and it's a bummer. Those mufflers are no joke. Wish there was a similarly priced lightweight option that sounded like it meant business, but there isn't.

It is not over-loud, so there is a lot of buyers remorse involved I am sure for those that purchased based on the name and quality and not believing the hype about the sound (or lack there of). Personally I love it (I have the full Evo system) as I find it to be loud enough for me and it sounds awesome when I romp on it. The rest of the time I can actually hear the stereo if I want or talk on the phone without any drama. I wanted the quality and the weight savings (to offset adding a Harrop SC) as well as the sound being much improved over the stupid-quiet stock system.
I am sure some of it is also part-outs due to the crazy market right now.

I love mine. I bought one of the last new slip ons back in July. At that time there were zero in classified section.
In the last few months there have been a lot pop up which to me is coincidence. |
