Yes and Norris would like one under his belt also, obviously team orders held him back at Monza but realistically they can't catch up that quick and would indeed need Ham and Max out to take any advantage and that's if Bot wasn't in play also OMW I'm not even mentioning Checo as he's neither here nor there but can come out of nowhere on his own terms and nail a race.

I heard that Checo still struggles with the RB-16B's rear end ..He ran with MAX's setup but it felt too unpredictable .
Meanwhile RB hasn't answers for his issues ..Too bad for Checo !

I expect to see the McLaren's nestling in between MAX and HAM .
This can be very interesting in the WDC fight ..
Norris won't step aside in the front !

It's for sure , it will be a hard race for MAX at Sochi with the Merc's and the McLaren's in front of him as we know he has the 3P grid penalty and probably he takes the last grid row with the new HONDA PU ..
And as we know is Sochi a Merc's benchmark...

Interesting fact is what the Wolf is saying !
HAM won't need a new Merc PU for the rest of this season !
HAM won't get a grid penalty !

Or is the Wolf just sandbagging as usual...

As for MAX : The best thing we can hope for is ....Rain !

RB may keep the current PU for Sochi if constant rain will be the subject on race day as easier running for the engine and will be more risky overtaking with new PU from the back.

Yeah . Probably they will take the decision by how the weather looks like ..
Sounds funny . But it's the key factor in the whole situation .

I'm pretty sure the McLaren's found new power and they will show it in the front...

For what it is I would think the McL upgrade may probably be a new energy store component like RB have introduced into Max's car since Spa and the other 3 Honda's should now get it.
Lets remember also that Max's car didn't run a proper race at Spa so is much 'newer' than would be and if it does rain properly then it looks more like they'll stick with it but Horner might be thinking about the other many tracks that the 16B should have an advantage as opposed to this one coming.
