Oh no, this is for a track in Texas. I’m still gonna call it a Laguna pipe. I can rotate the tip 360° to point it away from the sound booth of any track.

the area around laguna seca is a nice place to spend a few days. most of the other tracks are in desert or farm towns where you get in and get out.

Lol dang I would like to drive Harris Hill, but not this bad... My car regularly does over 101db at autocross so I'm sure its too much for the neighbors around there...

Time to put my old Honda hat on...

Do they still sell exhausts with removeable silencers?

That is a work of art right there - well done! Have they been giving you grief out there though?

While not the loudest E92 out there - mine is likely a bit louder than most. So far so good out there, haven't had any issues. I think they might leave us E9x M3 folk alone out of appreciation for the aural bliss produced from our cars. When 90% of the cars out there are angry little miatas you don't want to run off the sweet sounding stuff.

That being said I'm not responsible if you go out there and get run off

I need to take a picture of the ABS ECU with all the part numbers. Anyone can help me locate that ECU? I have no idea where to find it

Gintani mufflers are quite loud though...

I don't think the part numbers are easily visible but this should be it -

Thanks, But I need to take a picture of the part number I have. So I need to find it on my car and take a picture of it.

I think what you linked is the pump. I need to photo the ECU.

Looks like this

I think the control unit is the black part of the pump. I'll go take off the cabin air filter covers to see if the part numbers on the pump are easily visible.

I also want to drive the Thunderhill five mile course. The track and elevation changes look amazing. Wonder if my gf would be down to road trip to CA.

Eh, I can use it at other tracks that have sound restrictions, as well as any event where I’ll have an instructor.

Lol thanks. I haven’t been since 2017 due to the bumpiness. I had a loud Supersprint setup, but they didn’t kick me out. I’m doing the TNIA event on Nov 11, and I knew I’d need this because my BW race exhaust is too loud (a camaro got kicked out at the last event). And if I end up joining you for member days, I’ll probably need it again.

The part numbers on the black part of the pump (what I think is the control unit) are not easy to see as they're facing the wheel arch without much of a gap. If you don't have the whole unit uninstalled or if you don't have an inspection/scope cam, it'll be hard to figure out.

Jesus christ, Hankook RS4s are like bricks of concrete. Heaviest 275/35/18 I've carried. Seems like it is a good 2 pounds heavier than the PS4S I had.

LOL I commented this on Saturday when I was moving some stuff around my garage. I was rearranging some 265 RS4's and 265 A052's I have and said the same thing... "Dang these R4S4's are heavy!"

Different tires have different constructions. Could be tied to load rating, but part of that is the secret sauce as to why some tires generate more grip than others (reinforced sidewall that doesn't give as much under high lateral loads, for example).

Everyone raves about RS4 longevity -- might be a denser rubber compound that wears more slowly.

600/900 hyperco springs installed. German chassis on Chinese Titan7 wheels on Korean Hankook tires. Yup!

I thought ECU and pump are sold as an integral unit. Have you looked at realoem?
