I can flash the 240e file but when I flash the actual tune it aborts at 91 and gives

I am trying to flash a tune from a company, not gonna say any names. I can flash the 240e file fine but when I try to install the other tune file it aborts at 91% and says lost communications with ecu. Anyone have any ideas about how to go about getting the tune to flash?

Talk to your tuner, somethings not right. I had this one time. They've messed something up. Be happy you can revert to 240e and it hasn't Bricked your ecu.

Ya man, had me so scared when that error message came up and I couldn't get communication with my ecu. Thank god I could manually put in my ecu and revert back to the 240e file. Thanks again!

Do you have an electronic steering wheel or CAN Guage? If so that'll cause it too

I assume it’s not a battery issue and that you have the battery on a charger while doing this.

Yea not a battery issue, if it were a battery issue it would be happening the same for the 240e file. I've tried several times to try and flash the tune files again and they stop at 91 and give me that error every time

Have other people been able to flash the unnamed tuner’s tunes?

I had this problem with an Alpine tune but it was because I did not flash the "flash first" file first. Once I flashed it everything was fixed

Yes but If it were something on my end, I don't think it would even flash the 240e file? Right?

Tune file is not on the correct version. Contact the tuner, definitely a mistake on their end.
