Make sure you rinse like crazy in all the body seams, because the stuff will get in there and coat everything, so you have to rinse it out. Even the back of the door handles will get coated, which I found out the first time I opened the door and my hand just about slid off the car.
And do your wheels as well. ![]()

Dropped my m3 at RRT on Sunday for rod bearings and other doodads. I will join the BE/ARP gang shortly.
Gave myself a project to refresh my old e46. Finding my path on an interior detail that includes carbon 3m vinyl wrap. I think it looks pretty good. Check it out. |

Bimmerworld Premium Race Studs and Kics K40 Lug Nuts. I was going to do the Dinan shift lever but didn't feel like messing with it...another time.

Got a visual estimate on my rear end. Body shop (Caliber Collision) will try to fix this bumper before replacing it. If the structure is damaged beneath the skin the car will go to a Caliber "Luxury" shop.

2011 E90 M3, no track days known to me (3rd owner), previous owner was a member here and I don't believe he tracked it. Mileage was 125,000 kilometers or basically 75,000 miles. Oil changes every 5 to 7K.

I like it thus far. I noticed a slight difference in throttle response (although that may be just in my head) and the noise from the engine bay has certainly changed...and it just looks great when I look under the hood. Doesn't hurt that I installed the alpine tune shortly after....

Thanks. Looks like the pre 2011 shells with copper beneath? Looks really bad worn but maybe the way they come out in the picture?

I was also surprised the bearings were old style, I think the production date on my E90 M3 was Oct, 2010. It obviously got the old style RB shells. Glad I changed them, I almost contemplated not doing it thinking it was the newer material. Does anyone know the official start date of when the new RB material went in?
