Intercooler upgrade for ess vt2-650?
Hi guys, i was looking to upgrade the intercooler on my ess 650 kit. Was wondering if there was a larger volume aftermarket one that would work properly for my e92. Had some heat soaking in the summer months and was hoping to find a larger volume intercooler to help with the cooling. Let me know what you guys recommend. Thanks!

Try this guy. He said he was working on something for the ESS kit later in the thread: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1406316

My VF kit is from him^ i run the kit he sold... i have a fairly decent fromt heat exchanger. Had to cut the bumper and everything to get it to fit. The inside heat exchanger is bigger too. He did good work.

This is the larger front heat exchanger i run. It was sprayed black when i got it and it chips away so it looks bad but does the job. Does require cutting. It was all installed by me and a buddy so the cutting wasnt done professionally. I have to get a new passenger fender so when i do that ima just get a new bumper and other fender new and resprayed too. When hawaiianracer1 had it installed n his he cut it down to a T. It looked very good. Never had the water heated up or anything. I check the reservoir after i run it hard and stays very cool. I am going to strip off the paint and respray it so it wont chip. Just need fo find the time.

it's a biuld, I haven't seen kits but if you are good with tools and have some sense of mechanics you can put it together. I dump two bags of ice at the air strip or rollraces and get sub ambient IAT'S.
