FWIW my ESS does this too sometimes. Seems to get confused under partial throttle around 4k RPM.

I notice it when I need to accelerate out of second from low rpm. I'll step on the pedal maybe half to three quarters of the way and it'll hesitate. Its typically when I'm going just fast enough not to drop it down into first. It's just good to know that others have this issue.

I have the same thing. Ive learned to adjust my driving style around it using a bit more throttle when I want boost at those RPMs, then backing off a bit. Its been manageable for me.

I drove my car tonight for the first time in months... what a tire shredding blast it is. So much more linear and progressive than all of the new turbo cars. The sound, response, and power delivery is just incredible. I just love the thing. Looking into potentially changing out the map sensor so the car can actually see "boost" in the mapping (this will make drivability 100% OEM - id say it's 90% there) and need to finish dialing in the larger injectors and flex fuel kit. There will be some developments here, aided by live tuning a stand-alone control unit, and then porting that back over to the stock DME. |

My blurred shot driving back home last night with the 2017 IDrive system. Thought it was a cool pic.
I've been driving the F10 M5 non stop, and you really don't miss this car and it's characteristics until you get back into it. Also another thing to note is that used kits put in another car technically could use a new bypass controller - as on initial startup it learns the positions of the throttle which can differ from car to car. The older kits didn't have a relearn procedure built into the firmware, whereas the newer ones do. |

The tune is proper, and is extra safe. Has been track tested worldwide and abused by race teams on the 'ring. Drive one and you'll see how great it is. |

Those are definitely not my doubts. I'm just a little apprehensive about the throttle issues others mentioned. I love this car but the headaches can really take away from the experience.

Ok, Mike I don't see it on your site. How soon until it makes it into a kit? |

You can see some more pics here: NBT -> NBT EVO w/ touchscreen Retrofit http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1457504 I've had multiple kits sitting here for months.. will probably release a kit once the M4/M3 Tuning load reduces. So far there is 50k of inventory collecting dust that I don't have time to list for sale Also - as a side note, should be pretty easy to fix that hesitation. Spent a few minutes on my car with the stage II injectors and it's pretty much non existent. The throttle body is not an on/off switch - but the cars understanding of boost is essentially an on/off switch with the stock pressure sensors. M.Hagen - sent you a PM. |

This is awesome.
I'd definitely love to upgrade to the NBT EVO since im planning to keep my car until it breaks down and really like all the new features and techs on the newer models. You are making the E9x even more unique with this kind of upgrades integrated into this chasis. Also can wait for the Stage II to be released and would love to stop by the shop by the shop for a joy ride if that's possible LOL..sold my 625 kit 1.5yr ago and really miss having a SC on my car ever since.
