what to pair with Gintani sport exhaust

Hello everyone, I have a gintani sport exhaust on my e90M. it's the dual wall valved exhaust. I like it but it's a bit quieter than I thought (not that I want the super loud either... looking for that sweet middle ground). I was thinking of getting rid of it and getting a Einsemann Race but I don't c any for sale here and they're expensive brand new. The gintani race exhaust is not an option as per others, it's probably the loudest you can get (and too much drone).

The other option I am considering is to add an intake or test pipe/x-pipe. I am scared of the x-pipes because I've read tons re bad smell and apparently the car won't pass inspection w it (I also drive my 2 year old daughter daily)

Can anyone help with this decision? Let me know if you've paired your gintani sport with something that has made it a great sound. Thanks.
