Yeah, no way the Supra is stock. In the photos shown at the end it didn't have a hood scoop but the one in the video does.

Hell, they Toyota's got aftermarket seats and wheels. Pretty good indicators that other modifications have taken place.

I have a hard time believing the power differences listed at the beginning of the video and the outcome.

Also, isn't the Supra one of the most pefromance-enhancement friendly vehicles ever made?

Cursory examination reveals non-stock wheels and seats for starters. Mind you, a "stock" twin turbo Supra would do 0-60mph in about 4.8 seconds.

...didn't any of you notice the intro to the video?...M3 4.0 V8 (420ps) Vs Supra 3.0 Twin Turbo (360ps). a stock Supra makes 320bhp, and i don't know the exact conversion to PS. continue the conversation HERE.

You need to chill out making the statement "tuned cars dun matter for shit." I am still very into the JDM tuning world, and I know you will need lots of skills, patience, knowledge and guts to really fine tune a car. Plus it's not just the money that will get you there, engine plays a huge part also. 2JZ-GTE is so well known and well respected even after 10+ years. In that video, the Supra is obviously tuned but only lightly, that's why it's barely won.

Oh and if you can get a Geo Metro that POS to run like you said with money, I would love to see it.

let me rephrase:

tuned cars dont matter for shit when comparing stock vehicles.

of course there are cars out there that respond better to modifications than others, nobody is disputing that. the point is, the only restriction is how deep your pockets are.

heres a vid of a 9 second geo metro

does that make the geo a good car? understand?

edit: i remember seeing on tv once a top fuel integra dragster. did somewhere around 4 seconds, the only thing left stock on the car was the acura badge on the hood.
