285/35/19 PSS for stock ZCP E92?

Thinking about putting 285/35/19 PSS on the rear wheels and wondering if anyone know the tires will rub or not.

The car is a stock ZCP E92 M3, everything stock except for the wheels, which are Volk G25, 19x10.5, ET +22.

I would go with 275/35/19. 285/35 would probably work but it's a little too tall.

By too tall do you mean it may cause fitment issues or just a weird look? lol

Both. Plus possible traction control / abs issues.

295/30/19 will rub slightly at his offset (10.5 et22)...

Yeah it will be close......I'm running 25 offset and it's perfect. I've seen a et22 but now that I think of it, the owner wasn't running a PSS...............Phil

I think PSS tires are wider and more square than most tires on the market....I should just stick with 275/35/19

Doesn't look bad on the OEM ZCP wheels, but I was just thinking about getting something wider since the G25s are wider than the OEM ZCP, but not worth risking ABS/TC/rubbing issues

I have 285/30 on the rear and no problems at all. The problem is finding tires in that size

Just ordered a set of Volk G25 in the same offset, I was planning on running 295/30/19...are you saying it will rub the outer fender due to width or height?

TireRack has the PSS 295 listed at 26", and the 265 at 26.3". So the 295 is slightly shorter than the 265.

The 295 is 1.2" wider so roughly half inch on each side which looked Ok to me (I'm on Ohlins R&T right now)

Just curious because I've seen guys running 305s with similar offset wheels so thought I'd be safe with 295s...

Width. It will hit the painted fender at 10:00 on the drivers side. You need at least et25 on a 10.5" wheel to run 295 Michelins.

Thanks Slicer. Do you know if this is still the case with rear camber maxed out negative? I'm guessing somewhere between -1.7 to -1.9?

Yes. The rub point is at 10:00 on the drivers side which is close to the center line of the wheel. No amount of camber will solve it. In fact et25 may be insufficient for the PSS. I saw one car rubbing with 295/30/19 PSS on 10.5 et27 wheels. The PSS has a large rim protector that I think is the culprit. This is one of the reasons that I don't run TE37's.... I like 295's and both 18" and 19" te37's have offsets that are too aggressive.
