For people looking for these setups I've had
M Performance exhaust = Not loud enough for me M Performance exhaust + ACM Test Pipes = Sounds good, but raspy yes! (MPE's are more than likely to crack) Eisenmann Race Black Series + OEM X-pipe = sound great, adding anything else to the x-pipe and it turns it's self into a bomb loll call of duty sh***t. I Now sold the Eisenmann Race Black for good cash + a new new ACM Black with 80MM tips from EAS and the ACM mod, getting this today and ill write a review on my thought about the difference between the Race & ACM. They are on the same level of loudness! Ohh the Eisenmann Race does drone with x-pipe, it's not significant but you'll hear it. ACM = NO drone, let's see ! ACM modded exhaust should be for that person looking for a Rear axel, not full setup or else it may rasp like crazy. I am aware of this, but i am putting this with the stock x-pipe only!. |

I am considering the following two options - would appreciate advice on which direction to go.
What I currently have now: TP + OEM Exhaust Mod: What I have now - too loud IMO What I am considering (please let me know your opinions on what may be best/why): 1. TP + OEM 2. TP + Megan 3. Remove TP's - Keep OEM Mod

Megan and TPs. I've still yet to hear a better sounding combo. It sounds far more exotic and smooth than most of the nasty crap I hear coming off this forum. OEM mod + TPs sounds pretty bad, its very raspy and sounds like you did cutouts or something on the car like you'd do to a Camaro.
This is the vid that sold me on it, and it sounds way better in person. And this is why I have a E93 ![]()

#3 is last because of function over form (or sound). #2 first because I like the sound more than #1. Added benefit of having better looking tips as well (which you can change on #1 for additional money). Anyways, this is subjective to the ear and eyes...what do YOU like out of the 3? Want to keep the HP, eliminate #3. Then it is down to sound and looks for the difference in #1 and #2. |

Picking up an oem today to try that first. Still worried a bit that Megan + TP may be too loud. If oem doesn't sound good I'll try Megan next. Wish there was someone in Chicago w Megan/TP to hear. |

Shoot... ohh well I'll probably have it thrown on today as well if they can fit me in. How do you like the sound - are you satisfied with it?

I like it, not to raspy. It is loud enough when you stomp on it, though I could go for a little louder, especially at part throttle.

IMO (from everything I've heard and read) - TPs + OEM is the best middle ground. Power and sound. I don't feel right about leaving 50hp on the table for a "slightly better" sound. Soon. |

Just go full catless and that is what i have currently. AA Test pipes+Secondary cat delete+ Oem mod 4 pipes. I still have the resonator intact.

Can you post a vid of your setup? I have the oem exhaust mod + secondary cat delete and I love the sound right now, but curious how different it would be with adding TPs

Im going to be honest after getting test pipes, the car was just too loud, drony, and full of rasp after 3krpm. You can hear the car even with windows up and I'm planning to put on resonators in place of the sec cat delete. Hopefully, it will solve the solution for rasp and lower the volume.
