Canon 5D MK III
I'm super excited as I got my new Camera today and currently exploring the buttons and learning the camera's information. I must admit that I am fairly new at taking pictures. With that said, I probably should've jumped into something cheaper, but the few pictures I took of my wife and kid came out flawless. I also took some random pictures. I did not adjust anything, just took pictures and downloaded them.
Next I will be purchasing a 10mm Canon Fisheye, Extended battery, backpack and a couple of other things. Here are some pics I took: |

Congrats on the new camera!!!! Read up on white balance settings, and I think 10mm might be a bit too wide for a full frame body. Get out there and shoot away!!!!

I love it as well. I've actually been reading up a lot of information that has helped me understand the camera and its functions. I am very glad I made this huge purchase! |

the best thing you can do is just read more and more! In all honesty, I rather buy camera gear than mod my car... but then again I am a wedding photographer, so I'm biased haha!

5D3 is a sweet piece of gear, and the 24-105 is a perfect all rounder lens for it. It can take amazing car photos. Experiment with different F stops for a shallower depth of field. Also, get off the green box mode and learn to shoot using RAW.
Most importantly, have fun!!! Photagraphy is addicting. |
