You mean vs a normally aspirated stroked M3 right? Apples vs Apples.

It's not really a rocket on the straight away, purpose built track car and not drag. Just sharing this guy's build even though it may not be able to beat some heavily modded e92 m3's, its still a force to be reckoned with on the track.
Owner is from Canada and there were no M3's that came close. This 350 actually beat z06's, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, GT-R and other higher end cars. The only car that beat this 350 was another heavily modded Nissan GT-R. Im sure there are heavily modded e92 M3's in the US that can take this car but still very impressive IMO for a $15K used car that was built from the ground up. really, scuderia was skool'd - talk about poor driving skills on the scuderia's part. thumbs up on the 350s haha. wow, it took a heavily modded 600+ hp GT-R to beat this guy, I don't what to think about that one. |

The GT-R ran a 1:13:189, 350Z was very close at 1:13:503, and the Ferrari 430 Scuderia was 1:15:575 lol |

this is not all that impressive to me. first, there are too many variables to really be impressed by the fact that it beat a scuderia (most notably driver skills, but also tires - this car clearly has slicks). second, it's not even running air filters - let's see how long this motor lasts. lastly, comparing a modified car with a presumably stock car is pointless. I'm sure that an ESS M3 with slicks and a good driver can outlap just about any of those cars mentioned.

The owner of the scuderia and gtr is rich. He believes the gtr is a better track car than the scuderia anyways that's why he mods his gtr instead. He was definitely going all out on the scuderia and couldn't even get within 2 seconds of the 350. Afterwards he was just doing relentless burnouts on his scuderia with his hired model sitting beside him LOL he still had the track record with his gtr anyways so he is happy hahah Last edited by jetpilot747; 10-03-2012 at 10:32 AM.. |

Regardless of the lap times and the cars it beat, not sure if you guys realize how much 372 WHP is to a 350z normally aspirated lol. It was considered impossible but this guy showed the world it can happen. He basically has the highest HP for a NA 350 that comes out to the track and shares his build. Just imagine the highest HP NA E92 m3 guy in North America and see how impressive that is lol cost this guy a lot of money and time to figure out how to get power out of this 3.5 v6 engine

Its a nice car, very nice build, Im sure its a very fun car to drive, but does he seriously run it without an air filter? If so, hes not gonna have fun for long.

Didn't you mention that the guy who owns the Scud also owns the heavily modded GT-R? So you're talking 510HP vs maybe 600hp? If you say heavily modded, maybe even 650-700hp? Driver ability have a lot to do with it. I'm surprised in this day in age that you still believe it's ALL the car. A seasoned SCCA racer with a stock 350z could run circles around this modded 350z with an amateur driver... Anyway, It's a very nice car and nice build
