Guys, becareful there are so many cops around giving speeding ticket. Was out for like 30 mins, saw 3 cars were pulled over by cops in Crowchild and John Laurie

Hopefully you guys will have some opinions and suggestions, but I've been tossing around the idea of purchasing a summer car, most likely an E93 2009+. However, I'm worried about some of the dyno numbers that I've seen from stock M3's. Due to our elavation, NA cars typically don't mod too well, or respond with big gains.
So my questions are, anyone have baseline dyno charts, and then some of going to stage 1 or 2? Anyone go from a modded Evo/STI/Ralliart/WRX etc? I put down 275hp/320ft/lb on Sunny's Dyno Dynamics, and I'm finding that it's just not quick enough for me. My Ralliart runs out of breath from 5k+ on, which I'm hoping will be cured if I went to an NA V8. Should I wait for the F8x M3? Or find a good deal on a 2009+ one? I can't see myself paying full sticker for a new one since a new model will be out at the end of 2013 and values for e9x's will drop. Anyone returning their lease soon? |

Is the convertible that much slower? I'm so new to M3's and BMW's in general, so I figured the e93 would be heavier, but not so much that I had to have the e92. Plus I need to get away from junky japanese interiors, and I've always wanted a proper summer car.

Hey guys....got a coolant low warning over the weekend. Been reading up on the forums to see what I should use to top it up....some ppl say just use distilled water n some say use the BMW stuff.
Anyone here had to top their coolant up? What did u use? Thanks!

Definitely need a G48 spec coolant such as OE BMW or Zerex. I don't know much of the technical details, but switching coolants can leave residues and give you some problems.
