The car has every factory option EXCEPT rear parking sensors, HD radio and moonroof (I opted for the CF roof)! Factory Options:
For your viewing pleasure: Here are a few wear and tear items that I feel are worth mentioning: Door ding on rear driver side fender someone gave at the park. No paint damage, but a noticeable crease. Paint cracks in the RD bumper where it connects to the trunk because it had to be forced into place as it was too big (so said the shop that installed it). Abnormal chipping on the lower, passenger-side valance just in front of the rear wheel. "Curb Rash" on driver side front HRE from the lovely folks at the automated car wash. There are no "stories" on the car. I did get rolled into at a stop light that went through insurance but the other car was going less than 10 MPH so there was absolutely no structural damage or anything like that. The guy fell asleep and his foot slipped off the brake (it was mid day, I have no idea why he was sleeping in the car at a stop light). Only damage was a cracked rear CF diffuser which needed replacement. So I opted for the RD Sport bumper. I still have the OEM bumper and will include it if you want to swap back, you'll just need to take the cracked diffuser off. The car has been through every scheduled maintenance at either BMW of Austin or BMW of San Antonio. Let me know if you'd like any specific pictures or information on the car. I'll answer any questions you might have. Thanks for your interest! - John

I do not have the stock rims but I have a deal on the table to swap another owner for his 19" OEMs if you'd rather have those. It would be either/or but not both. I'd prefer to sell it as is if possible. I might be able to get my stock exhaust back, I had given it to a friend but I don't think he ever did anything with it. I'll check on that. I'm open to any reasonable offers on the car, but I'm not in a hurry to sell so there won't be any deep discounts. What did you have in mind?

Thanks for the great response.
I am selling my A4 right now, just paid it off and its wearing on me lol. waiting for that to sell and then I will be clear to purchase the m3 ive been wanting for 3 years now. only thing i see my wife saying is your deploying in 2 weeks why are you going to buy a car you cant even drive yet... and my response would be because i want it.... and i dont know how that would fly.. I am on my work computer and cant see the pictures u posted at the moment, but it is a beautiful car. I would want it with the aftermarked rims, i was just asking all the questions for the sake of the other people who might be interested in the car. wasnt looking for a huge discount, just curious if it was a FIRM price or negotiable. Thank you, Chris. |

I bought my extended warranty from the BMW Finance Department when I purchased the car back in 2008. It is technically from United Auto Car but I haven't had any problems with it being accepted at a few different BMW Service Departments. It has a $50 deductible. The coverage is for 72 months or 72,000 miles (whichever comes sooner). The warranty has great coverage:
Good luck selling your A4! I looked hard at those before buying the M3. Very nice cars. I'm glad I went with the M, tho. I think swapping to the M3 is a great move... you'll love it! - John |

I am photographer/filmmaker on the side and have recently began traveling a lot more for events on the weekends and I hate putting boring highway miles on a car like the M3. It has turned into a commuter car for me (albeit, an exhilarating commuter car!). So I ordered a MINI Countryman which is due to arrive in the next two weeks! At least I am keeping it in the family (sort of). I have toyed with the idea of keeping the M as a second car but I don't want to keep her locked away in a garage for the rest of her life. She loves the open road!

The car is located in San Antonio, Texas. And that is the factory ambient lighting. I believe they are LEDs.

What does the aftermarket exhaust consist of (catback only, headers) and how is the sound compared to stock? What is the service history? Condition of the tires and brakes?
Thanks. |
